JOINT CRISIS COMMITTTEE
Side B: Outies Anonymous
Director: Valery Vayserberg
Chair: Orly Boland
BACKGROUND GUIDE COMING SOON!
The work is mysterious and important. The job is undefined, and yet somehow, you are at the center of it all.
Work and play are strictly separate. Crossing into the office is not just a physical barrier, but a mental one. Employee minds are split between their work memories (“Innies”) and their outside lives (“Outies”). Knowing nothing of each other but existing as the same person, this severance of the mind has come under scrutiny from the outside world, at times by the very same individuals who work inside Lumon Industries.
And your role in it all? You’re a conglomerate of people who do not know each other, but you do have one thing in common: you have all been severed (colloquially known as “outies.”). You underwent the process of disconnecting your work life from real life in order to run away from what is troubling you, only to be brought into this space with those severed, like you. There is only one job opportunity for severed persons in this world, which is why all of your “innies” are employees at the high-paying Lumon Industries.
Your goal? Ensure job security and equality in the real world while maintaining your severed status. The news has already begun to leak stories claiming “poor working conditions” and “the unethical practice of severance” which seems to include leaked information from current employees… Remember: there is no going back to who you once were. This committee favors creativity, tact, and communication both with other delegates and with their JCC counterparts. The fast-paced crisis format asks only that you come ready to discover the secrets of Lumon Industries.
